Cùram Backed Bench
The Cùram backed bench has a simple contemporary form, with a traditional croft-house style. Each piece is handcrafted by myself and made to order, available in locally sourced Scottish Ash or Oak.
The wedge shaped seat components provide improved comfort and a generous splay on the leg angles allow for a very rigid and lightweight structure. Lumbar support is provided with a back panel, the laminated spines provide a gentle degree of movement for additional comfort. The backed bench is designed to sit with the Cùram dining table but happily stands alone in a lounge, bedroom or hallway.
This piece has been designed to be flat packed, allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint in delivering our work to you. We include all necessary parts and instructions for ease of construction. Our packaging is all FSC certified cardboard, fully recyclable and biodegradable materials are always used.
