Featuring in 2014...

The Oxbow Chair enjoyed some press last month with a small feature in House & Garden and this lovely full page shot in Home & Gardens. The lifestyle shot pictures the side chair in oak with natural undyed leather which compliments the industrial styling perfectly.

The Oxbow is now in production available either as a side or armchair in natural or fumed oak with a choice of natural, tan or dark brown bridle hide leather slings.

Selected at the Dovecot

The end of November saw the opening of awaited Edinburgh exhibition 'Selected.'

The show celebrates contemporary quality craft from all over Scotland, exhibited in one of the city's finest gallery spaces, Dovecot Studios.

As one of the invited designer-makers we have several pieces from the new range on show, including the opportunity to see a limited edition Wu Bench in fumed oak and black leather which we made especially for the exhibition.

The show runs until the 21st December and is well worth a visit to see and buy some of the best contemporary craft in Scotland

Oxbow Chair Launched at Decorex

We've just managed to to get hold of some of the shots from London Design Week where the Oxbow Chair was first launched to the public at Decorex International. Manufacturers Benchmark had several of the chairs on display in both tan and natural leather and the chair was well received by trade visitors and the public. See more of the Oxbow Chair via our products page.

Hope House Photo Shoot

furniture designer maker Namon Gaston gets new hand crafted collection photographed

With the new range finished and ready to launch we were all set to get some great shots for the website. We have been very fortunate to use Grand Designs home 'Hope House' as our location, which is conveniently just down the road from our workshop in East Lothian.

This was a first location shoot for us. It was great to see how the new collection looked in situ and have the expert guidance of photographer Stuart McClay and Stylist Stacey Hunter.

You can see the selected photos on the relevant product pages of our new site!
